Junior Pre-school
Our Junior Pre-school room caters for children from 2.5 to 4 years of age.
Our Pre-school rooms are thoughtfully planned out, and offer various visible choices for children based on their needs and abilities. We use a play-based, child led curriculum approach offering a range of learning opportunities to children, which are appropriate to the child’s stage of development and focuses on creating meaningful learning experiences.
Our curriculum promotes children’s interests, builds on and supports their learning through developing these interests in the learning environment, motivates their holistic development, and creates enthusiasm about their learning as it has emerged from their interests and ideas.
We consider each child’s ever-growing needs, skills, abilities, and interests and use our knowledge about each individual child and plan our curriculum accordingly. We provide a wide range of opportunities to inspire learning and support children to develop to their full potential.
We help to promote each child’s communication and social skills while encouraging sensory and language development through our fun activities. We support the children by encouraging them and by facilitating their learning in a range of ways, such as, movement, singing and dancing, painting, water and messy play, role play, and much more.
Adult/Child ratio:
1 Adult to 11 children (Sessional) 1 Adult to 8 children (Full daycare, aged 3 years or above) 1 Adult to 6 children (Full daycare, aged under 3 years)
